At DABA, we organise “GREEN” events in which our hotels, restaurants and activities are totally sustainable and in harmony with the natural environment.

We have an interesting selection of sustainable hotels that comply with the Green Concept Policy. They recycle and use renewable energy without renouncing to a five star comfort and design.

Jointly we organise environmental activities such as sailing to Formentera, cycling excursions, local cooking classes, regional wine tasting and plenty more.

The Restaurants and beach clubs that we propose for these programs have been especially chosen because of the care they take in selecting organic foods and how are cooked, always under the supervision of front-line chefs and natural surroundings.

We complement our events with eco gifts made of bamboo, wood, recycled materials, organic cotton and others, so that visitors get to keep a reminder of their Eco Experience in Ibiza.

We accommodated the group at Hotel Hacienda Na Xamena, where staying already is an experience in itself. Its architecture, location and the original waterfall Spa facing towards the sunset are unique in the world.

We spent three days exploring the beaches, restaurants, and naturally… the nightlife, in which we enjoyed the popular Pacha Club among others.  This was a benchmark trip for the company because of the emotional effect that this incentive had on the group.

For this purpose we allocated the convention at the five star Dolce Sitges Hotel where we stayed throughout three days. Its convention centre was most appropriate for this event. The popular ex sportsman Juanma Iturriaga was the Master of Ceremony hosting the Conference.

Indoor training sessions, outdoor activities, conferences and even training with playing music were used as tools by newcomers to learn about the company background and for all employees to work as a team on one direction.

The Conference concluded with a gala dinner at the hotel followed by a private party on the coast at the emblematic Atlantis Club, where emotions lived in the last few days could be shared to the beat of excellent electronic music.

After travelling with convenient direct flights from London to Gibraltar, our clients were transferred to the exclusive Hotel Dos Mares on the sea front. A work meeting was celebrated in an open air venue with breathtaking views to help spring up new ideas and assimilate new concepts dealt with in a relaxing atmosphere. The main objective was to successfully bring together a culturally diverse work team.

The Kick Off took place throughout three days giving the team a chance to enjoy different sports, gastronomic and cultural activities and allowing participants to discover from a very emotional perspective this corner of Europe which still remains anchored in two cultures.

The organising for this corporate incentive in the area was ground – breaking therefore DABA had to make the necessary arrangements in order to make this Project successful in a much distended atmosphere, as if it were a trip out with friends.

The annual meeting for international investors from 3i, London takes place in a different European city once a year. Daba was selected to organise in Madrid a Convention that blended with elegance avant-garde and tradition from our capital.

We accommodated the 200 VIP investors Group from different countries in the five continents, at the fashionable five star Puerta de America Hotel, where the internal Convention was held during three days. Eating, social, and cultural habits from all participants where considered throughout the Convention to bring them closer in despite of their differences. The meeting room was decorated by us for this occasion and a team provided bilingual support at all times according to the clients’ requirements.

We also handled the entire event in the city of Madrid, where special dinners were celebrated in places as diverse as Casa Patas, the Casino of Madrid or the area of La Latina. This way the participants had the chance to enjoy the city from different perspectives.

To finish off these sessions, a participating company from the food sector organised a cooking show, in which everyone could enjoy their products and even experience its elaboration. This event was organised by DABA using the hotel terraces.

The company Securitas Sistemas changed its name and corporate image to be hived off from its parent company. It needed its own identity as a sole corporation since it is listed on the stock exchange. Consequently, a convention for senior executives was organised to discuss this change and how to focus it on clients.

Training workrooms and indoor exercises were organised to build up proactivity, flexibility, collaboration, critical spirit and determination. Fernando Cortiñas, marketing guru and a superb speaker, gave a conference to close off the workroom sessions. He is considered nowadays a well renowned speaker all over Spain because of his education and charisma.

A metaphorical – activity was organised outdoors paralleling the company name change with its new “launch”. It involved the real take – off of 12 hot air balloons personalized with the company’s new logo. After dividing the group in teams, they overflew Segovia. This activity became a record of aerostatic balloons simultaneously up in the air. It was supervised by Laureano Casado, an eminence from the aviation sector and a businessman with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology on the field of Industrial Psychology. The event ended with his speech “By the shores of heaven”, the same name used during his participation on the TV show “Al filo de lo imposible” in which he conveyed the philosophy of “adding life to years and not years to life”.

This special incentive was organised for company employees from the Spanish Delegation of Bouygues Inmobiliaria. During four nights and five days they explored this heavenly part of Brazil.

The group consisted of 60 people, including Reception staff to Senior Management. They all enjoyed boat trips around Maracajau, snorkeling in Barrera de Coral, driving a Land Rover in Cabo de Sao Roque Beach and visiting Barra de Punau. Forró Nights, crossing the Cunhau River, going to Formosa Beach and to Pipa Beach. They saw dolphins, explored Genipagbu Beach by buggy, visited Muriu Beach and sailed around it on the locally famous Jangada boat, went to Reis Magos Fort and learned about local crafting, all these while staying at the five star Ocean Palace Hotel, and enjoying the best restaurants from the region.

The group returned to Spain after enjoying an unforgettable experience. This trip was quoted on the magazine Business Traveler as the perfect example of a corporate incentive with a “Five star Adventure” rating.
